As a founding member of the Center For Excellence in Eye Care, Dr. Henry L. Trattler has been in private practice for over thirty years as a board-certified ophthalmologist. Dr. Henry Trattler is the immediate past President of the Miami Ophthalmologic Society and also the past President of the Greater Miami Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He currently serves as the Medical Director and Chairman of the Board for the Medical Arts Surgical Center, the outpatient surgery center at Baptist Hospital and is also a Voluntary Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Miami's Bascom Palmer Eye Insitute.

Dr. Henry Trattler is a member of the Professional Teams Physicians organization and has been the ophthalmologist for the Miami HEAT and the Miami SOL professional basketball teams, since their inception into the NBA and WNBA.

Dr. Henry Trattler is a glaucoma consultant to both Merck and Pharmacia Ophthalmology Pharmaceuticals. He is also on the advisory council for Transitions Optical, the world's largest producer of variable tint lenses for the optical industry. Published in numerous medical and trade journals, Dr. Henry Trattler is on the editorial board of Refractive Eyecare For Ophthalmologists.
