In just a couple weeks on June 28th, our very own Glaucoma subspecialist, Dr. Cris Cruz Colon, will be presenting at a very prestigious location about a new glaucoma therapy.

Dr. Cruz has shared that this is such an honor to be included on this panel, but mostly to be able to present side by side with one of his professors and mentors, Dr. Jonathan Myers who serves as Chief of the Glaucoma Service at Wills Eye.

If you have never heard of it, Wills Eye Hospital is a non-profit eye clinic and hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was established in 1832 and is the oldest continually operating eye-care facility in the United States.

MicroPulse, the therapy that Dr. Cruz will be lecturing about, is used for Glaucoma Therapy and is now available at almost every Wills Eye Facility.  Micropulse is also available at our practice, The Center for Excellence in Eye Care, here in Miami, FL.
