Carolina Pedroletti, OD
Dr. Carolina Pedroletti grew up in South Florida and graduated from Gulliver Preparatory. She went on to graduate with honors from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in nutritional sciences. She attended Nova Southeastern University for optometry school and received her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2005.
Dr. Pedroletti is trained in fitting lenses for astigmatism, presbyopia, for conditions such as keratoconus and corneal scarring, and also for post-surgical eyes. Types of contact lenses she fits include soft spherical and toric, multifocal, gas permeable, and scleral lenses.
At the Center for Excellence in Eye Care, Dr. Pedroletti performs comprehensive eye examinations and cataract evaluations, identifies refractive surgery candidates, provides post-operative care of surgical patients and fits simple and specialty contact lenses.Dr. Pedroletti is a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric
Dr. Pedroletti is a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and the Dade County Optometric Association. As an advocate of volunteerism, Dr. Pedroletti belongs to the Gulliver Alumnae Council and is also a member of the executive board of the Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae Group. She is also an active member of Fairchild Palms. When she is not helping patients with their vision, Dr. Pedroletti enjoys the beach, spending time with her family and running.
